In March of 2016, WSHA was awarded Phase 2 of an ASHA Pathways to Excellence Grant to support the further study of the speech-language pathology and audiology workforce in the State of Wisconsin.  Components and activities of the Grant include exploring universal licensure as an option to protect consumers and decrease barriers to employment as well as the development of the IContribute Campaign.

We invite you to follow the WSHA website for ongoing conversation and progress regarding the work of the WSHA Universal Licensure committee.
