United Government Services: Medicare Fiscal Intermediary
Fiscal Intermediaries (FIs) process Medicare claims for services provided in agencies such as Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (ORFs), and Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (CORFs). FIs have Web sites that provide vast amounts of information regarding Medicare coverage and billing. Your billing office will know the identity of the FI that processes your claims.

United Government Services (UGS) is the largest Medicare Part A Intermediary, processing over 30 million claims nationwide each year. It is also the National Intermediary for Federally Qualified Health Care (FQHC) Centers. UGS serves customers in WI and many other states. The UGS Web site contains valuable information, including:

Interactive Dialogue with Educators from Across the State (IDEAS) has launched a Web site to provide high-quality, teacher-reviewed Web-based resources for curricula, content, lesson plans, and professional development. 

Wisconsin Assistive Technology Initiative
The Wisconsin Assistive Technology Initiative is a statewide project funded by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to help all school districts develop or improve their assistive technology services. WATI also works with Birth to 3 programs through a grant from the Wisconsin Birth to 3 Program.

Speech-LanguagePathologist.orgis a great resource for SLP's looking for jobs and answers. We offer other free services including free email yourname@Speech-LanguagePathologist.org, an active chat room with posted archives that is availble to all. Our message board is a very busy and useful tool to get answers from clinicians from around the world. 

Communication Connects
This site is dedicated to speech/language pathologists, educators and parents, encouraging development of functional communication skills in children in all environments. Included are informational articles related to fostering good communication, a story-making machine, forums, links which include IEP goal ideas, fun therapy activities, organizational forms and much more. 

Avaaz Innovations
Avaaz Innovations is a company that offers software products for use in speech-language pathology and audiology. Products include software for the analysis of speech signals, treatment of childhood articulation and phonological disorders, and assessment and treatment of aphasia and adult language disorders. 

Stuttering Foundation
